16 Thing. Create you own iGoogle home page

It was quite simple to create my personal web page and I love it now. I love how it looks and how I can use it. It's very good that you can organise all useful google's tools on one page and you can always change your preferences. I designed this page in my way, I added recommended gadgets and added Worldcat search gadget, useful box to search books. If I will find something interesting I can always to add it to my personal web page. Thank you 23 Things for introducing for me this new technology.

Task 15. Google Book Search and Google Scholar

I love this option to search books and articles.
I found 'The Missing Manual' by Sara Milstein, the book that covers almost all features of Google. I think it makes sense to have this book on my bookshelf.
I was looking for another book to my interest and found it.
Using Google scholar,I found some articles which our students asking for.

I know how to share calendar and using templates from Google docs now.
I tried to do it, it works.

I posted some comments to my blog, using Google Docs.

So, I am learning new technology.

It's fun and not so hard. And when you reach your goal you've got a satisfaction.

I have new friends on Facebook, they are sharing their knowledge with me it's good.

I think it is good.
If you need to go to new place it will give you visual information about this place and mail direction will help you to choose the best way to get there.

I registered and edit my profile to Facebook. Found some friends.

I created Link List on my blog, where you can find some videos with jokes about libraries.

I subscribed to digg.com through my feed reader.
I thing it is a good idea to read news and share your view on things.

I did set up a feed reader and I subscribed site Librarian Matter. It will help me in my professional development.

Library Thing

I created account at Library Thing, found some books which I read about Australian History and country of my birth, blogged my findings
